2/29 To my faithful friends who have checked in, Thank you and please do not stop. Today I am typing with two hands which is delightful after two fingers only. Now i have much more incentive to stay in touch. I am feeling almost human and have a lot to say. The only writing I have done until now (prior release from brace) has been for the column my hometown paper, Swainsboro Forest Blade has honored me to print. Now Myra is calling me back. I know you just corrected me and said, “Did you forget Myra is now in Heaven?” I didn’t forget, but her voice is still heard in my head. I have things floating around in my thoughts that I must put into words. Fall is here and with it I always feel a burst of energy. Fall is always a time of promise of things ahead to enjoy—Thanksgiving, football, day trip to fall color in nearby mountains, crisp local apples and the memory that in the early fall of 1954, I met a boy from Arkansas. I will keep you up on progress of possible book four. I have no title or bible verse & that is always sets pace of my writing. Any suggestions? Shirley
