Sunday night 9:00. One hour left before must do bedtime. Been a very tiring day.
To blog or not to blog to write or not to write must decide by next line.
I’m here so blog won. I have already spent several afternoon hours on Book III so think I am due some mindless chatter.
But first, I must report that story has been completed, still a lot of work to do, but I have a story. Has not turned out according to original plan which was to be focused on Myra’s later years. An insignificant character from book II emerged and caused Myra to share. She has been out of control and consuming pages and pages. However, I think you will like her. Myra will be going through the 60s & 70s and viewing turmoil through her TV screen. It will be different.

Why am I so tired? I had 23 children in children’s church today. Used to be that a classroom of 23 was a piece of cake. I enjoyed doing the class, but found years do take a toll on energy level. Fun birthday party for my friend Carolyn Thurs night at Rafferty’s. Discovered a happy hour $1.25 margarita—I highly recommend for birthday party of vintage ladies.
Movie review–if you haven’t yet seen “The Butler” get thee to the picture show. It is great and should be see by everyone. As a bona fide daughter of the South and of the 60s 70s generation, I guarantee it is authentic. Love Robin Williams as Ike.
Put my GA Tech flag out today. Forever loyal to my Rambling Wreck.
As you have figured out, this is a slow news day, but just wanted to say Hi and thanks for the 526 hits.

9:30–waiting for 10:00 to call another time zone—what shall I do? Why not blog.
Good family time last week. All three of my kids (?) at my dinner table at the same time–a rare treat. Tried to do one of their childhood favorites Baked Alaska (it really is simple) Colossal mess–Bought my favorite all natural vanilla–would not get hard enough to attempt the meringue and oven. After through investigation by my deductive reasoning off-springs, determined that all natural ice cream does not contain the ingredient that makes it hard. Later looked on label ingredients of my choice and the store brand & found several ingredients listed that were not on all natural. Asked dairy manager & he confirmed our findings.
Hint — if you want to make Baked Alaska, use cheap ice cream!
I also learned that an old dog can learn new tricks. After complaining that
no spell check on blog, yesterday I learned how to find it. Makes me feel quite stupid to find one right click does it
One chapter to go on book III. I am working for closure but not sad, hard to do.
Just had a new thought on that. Closure is not necessarily an ending but a feeling of content. I am excited about this book because it goes through all the events of the 60s and 70s that touched me so much. How many times must a man turn his head. pretending he just doesn’t see? You know the answer–it’s blowing in the wind. Love Mary Travers. She did have a hammer.
Maybe I should not write in the morning. Far transgressed from a book blog.
Have a good day

Much too late to be blogging. You are probably sound asleep. Just finished Chapter XXIII of still untitled, and I am tired but wide awake. I am glad you are always there when I can’t sleep.
I am so into the writing and already book has a fan of one–me. It is surprising me that a character has emerged that I did not expect to have a prominent role. She seems to be determined to take over story I had planned for Myra. Now she has gotten into a romance. I can’t control her.
Last week visit from Fran, my friend since kindergarten (Yes, there was kindergarten in the stone age) We had a great reunion and I enjoyed sharing our great city with her. We talked constantly for four days. All was great except except for too much rain and a parking ticket. As I argued with the attendant who was writing my ticket (I honestly did not see the sign that said 15 minute parking) she said, “he is just doing his duty.” Ok, I shut up and paid the ticket. I have missed you since you left, Fran. Facebook post from Erin & family in NYC and now Boston make me envious. Happy for them but I can say been there and loved it.
A big 12:00 just appeared on my screen. It is now Aug 2. Time does pass quickly. Off to bed.
