Merry Christmas

Saturday, December 24th, 2011

I hear that Joy in the Morning is under some Christmas trees. Nice to know that a reader gives it for a gift.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night.

An author’s dream

Monday, December 19th, 2011

Book signing was an author’s dream. Great turnout and many books sold. I loved having it at St. Peter’s with many parish members, old friends from different parts of my life and friends of Myra’s. I feel so blessed and so happy. Best of all is hearing folks tell me they are enjoying the book.
Now I can concentrate on my family and Christmas fun.

Night before

Will my signing be a success? How do I judge success? Fun party at home of Fr. Furman. Many good talks @ book. Tomorrow night I will know who came, but how do I judge success!

One day and a wake up

Friday, December 16th, 2011

After months of writing, correction, editing, fearing and anticipating, Myra will make her official debut tomorrow. I wish her luck and wish me her faith and optimism.

2 or 1 day

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

I don’t know if I am counting correctly. It is either 2 or 1 day until the book signing–depending on whether the day of is counted. I’ve never been good at difficult math. Al would say, “One day and a wake up.” Never the less–Saturday 3-5:00 pm is the day and time. I am so excited. The weather predicition looks good so that is a positive. Myra is ready to jump out of the boxes.

Three days

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

In three days I hope a respectable number of folks will be headed to St Peter’s for my book signing. Come on down and enjoy the company of other friends of Myra.

Count Down

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

The count down begins. Five days until my book signing 12/17 3-5 pm at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Greenville SC.
My pen is ready, and Myra is ready to tell you the rest of the story. Erin’s refreshments will be “Myra treats.”

I hope some of you see the wonderful article in St. Peter’s newsletter. I can’t believe that is ME. Thank you Cathy O. You always write the perfect promotion for me.
